If you are a new runner/walker or a comeback runner/walker, the Hellgate Road Runner is the group for you to join. Any doubts you may have of your personal ability will be erased, and replaced with confidence. Come down and join us.

Members...Don't forget to bring your water bottles to the workouts.

               If you ordered a singlet, please contact LuAnn.

Starting in July thru September, the Saturday morning training runs will be at 8am.

Directions to Astoria park

   

 

 

 

 

By Subway: Take the "N" or "W" train to Hoyt Avenue/Astoria Blvd. Walk 8 blocks west (parallel to bridge) past 21st Street, into the Park.

By Car from Queens/Long Island: Take the Grand Central Parkway to the Hoyt Ave. exit (last exit before the Triboro Bridge). Go straight up the ramp, pass under the elevated train, and travel parallel to the bridge. Go about 8 blocks directly into the Astoria Park parking log.

 

From Brooklyn: Take the BQE to the Grand Central Parkway. Follow directions from above.

From the Bronx/Upstate: Take the Major Deegan or Bruckner to the Triboro Bridge. Exit the bridge at the first exit, 31st Street. Make the second left (you can't turn left under the el). Make the next left and travel parallel to the bridge, about 8 blocks, directly in to the parking lot.

From Manhattan: Take the upper level of the 59th Street Bridge and exit at 21st Street. Make a right onto 21st Street. Travel about 1 ½ miles. Pass under the Triboro Bridge and make an immediate left. The parking lot is directly in front of you.
